MAN is it hot out! It's 25 degrees cooler inside my house than it is outside. I feel both grateful and guilty about that. Granted, about 10 degrees worth of cooling comes from the shade trees, but that's still a whole lotta electricity the AC is soaking up. On the other hand my cats would probably die if it was 95 inside the house. So really it's for their sake.I really want to go outside and work in the yard. I have a couple things that need to get planted before we leave for Alaska. The lawn needs to get mowed, and I need to move some compost. But everytime I step outside I wilt after about 5 minutes. Hopefully it'll cool off in the next couple hours.Apricots are in season and I just got some fantastic ones at the store. posted by Rachel 6/27/2001 . . .
