I read Victor Frankl's "Man's Search for Meaning" a few days ago. It was very good. He was a psychiatrist who was imprisoned in a german concentration camp during WWII. He talks about what he learned about suffering from the experience. And he slams the shallowness of Freud and the Behavioralists which is always appealing. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a deep thought provoking human-condition sort of thing.

I'm really ticked off. That wacko who films abortion clinics and puts people and cars up on his website has targeted MY clinic. Granted when I first decide to patronize Planned Parenthood I viewed it as a minor good deed to provide some cover for abortion-seekers by going there for contraceptives. Also the clinic is 5 blocks from my school. Unfortunately it's also the only abortion clininc in the state. But I'll be damned if those idiots are going to force me to drive all the way across town out of fear. I'm a bit flummoxed as to how I should react if one of them takes my picture. I'll probably be bloody furious but it'll depend on my mood at the time how I react. Perhaps I should put my "I'm Pro-Choice and I shoot back" bumper sticker on my car. Actually I think I'll take their picture and put it up on my website. Turnabout is fair play. Maybe I should publish their names and addresses. I hope there are people picketing in front of website-man's house. Idiots everywhere. I just hate it when they infringe on my life.
