The first important Islamic cleric outright condemning terrorism within the framework of Islam. Yay Ayatollah. (Never in a million did I think I'd ever say that seriously.) The govt= axis of evil. The people= openly craving democracy. Why on earth aren't we helping?
The world is creeping toward sensibility: "A federal judge Thursday said he was ready to declare the death penalty unconstitutional unless the government can quickly explain why so many death row inmates turn out to be innocent." It is to smile.
