It's starting to affect us. The FBI issued warnings about terrorists bombing apartment buildings. A huge explosion just wiped out an apartment in California. Normally I would assume that it was gas related and not give it another thought. Now the first thing that springs to mind is that it might be a bomb. Really, bombing apartment buildings would be a very effective way to sow terror. No one pays much attention to their neighbors, certainly no one would think much of people hauling in huge crates. You could manage an enormous amount of explosives and you could set them so you wouldn't even have to detonate yourself with it. In a big building at say 9 pm you could take out several hundred people. Imagine the panic if that started happening. How many people live in apartment buildings? How many recent muslim imigrants live in apartment buildings? How would they be treated?
